How we handle your info and keep it safe
Last Updated: November 6, 2025
Your privacy matters. Got questions? Just give us a call.
Look, we get it - nobody actually likes reading these things. But since we're gonna be working on your prized European ride, you probably wanna know what we do with your info, right?
Here's the deal: we only collect what we need to fix your car properly and keep you in the loop. We're not selling your email to spammers or doing anything shady. We've been in this business for years, and our reputation means everything to us.
This policy covers what info we grab when you visit our site, bring your vehicle in, or reach out to us. It's all pretty straightforward stuff, but Canadian privacy laws (PIPEDA, specifically) require us to spell it out.
Bottom line: We treat your data the same way we treat your car - with respect and care.
We don't ask for anything we don't actually need. If it seems excessive, feel free to ask us why we need it.
This is where rubber meets the road. Here's what we do with your data:
Diagnosing issues, ordering the right parts, tracking what we've done to your vehicle over time, and making sure we're doing the job right.
Calling or emailing you with updates, sending appointment reminders, letting you know when it's time for scheduled maintenance.
Processing payments, generating invoices, keeping records for warranty purposes and tax requirements.
Meeting regulatory requirements, handling warranty claims, and protecting ourselves (and you) if something ever goes sideways.
Modern European performance vehicles are basically computers on wheels. When we plug into your BMW's ECU or reflash your Audi's transmission, we're accessing a ton of technical data.
Here's the thing: We use this data purely for diagnostic and repair purposes. If your car's computer shows it's been driven hard, we're not judging - we just need to know so we can properly assess wear and tear.
For performance tuning work, we keep baseline dyno runs and before/after data. This helps us dial in your car perfectly and gives you documentation of the improvements.
Note: If we're doing warranty work, we may need to share diagnostic data with the manufacturer. We'll always let you know if that's the case.
We're pretty protective of your information, but there are a few situations where we gotta share stuff:
Sometimes we need to give them your VIN and vehicle details to get the correct parts. That's it - they don't get your personal contact info unless it's for direct shipping.
When you pay by card, that transaction goes through a secure payment gateway. They handle the sensitive card data - we never see or store full card numbers.
If you're making a claim, we'll provide repair estimates, invoices, and documentation directly to your insurance company. Obviously, we'll only do this with your permission.
For warranty work or technical support, we might need to share vehicle data and diagnostic info with the manufacturer's tech line. This helps us fix weird issues properly.
If we're legally required to hand over info (like a court order or regulatory audit), we'll comply. But we'll fight back against fishing expeditions if it comes to that.
We take security seriously - both in our shop and with your digital info. Here's what we do:
Customer databases are encrypted, and we use secure servers with regular backups.
Only staff who need access to do their jobs can see customer records. No browsing allowed.
Our website uses SSL encryption (that little padlock in your browser).
Paper records are locked up when not in use. We're not leaving invoice copies lying around.
We keep our systems patched and up to date to prevent security vulnerabilities.
We keep records as long as legally required, then securely dispose of them.
Look, no system is 100% bulletproof, but we do everything reasonable to protect your info. If there's ever a data breach (knock on wood), we'll notify you ASAP as required by Canadian law.
Under Canadian privacy laws (PIPEDA), you've got some rights when it comes to your personal data. Here's what you can do:
You can request a copy of what personal info we have on file. Just shoot us an email or call, and we'll get that sorted within 30 days.
If something's wrong (old phone number, misspelled name, whatever), let us know and we'll fix it right away.
Want us to delete your info? We can do that, but we might need to keep some records for legal/tax purposes. We'll explain what we can and can't delete.
Don't wanna get our service reminders or promotional emails? No problem - just click unsubscribe or tell us you're not interested.
If you gave us permission for something specific (like sending your info to a parts supplier), you can change your mind. Might affect our ability to service your vehicle though.
Confused about how we're using your data? Just ask. We'd rather explain it clearly than have you worry.

Yeah, our website uses cookies. Not the chocolate chip kind - the digital tracking kind. Here's the deal:
These keep the site working properly - remembering your session, storing items in forms, that kind of stuff. Can't really turn these off without breaking things.
We use basic analytics to see how people use our site - which pages are popular, where folks are dropping off, how long people spend reading about our services. This helps us make the site better. We're not building creepy profiles or anything like that.
If we embed stuff like Google Maps (for directions to our shop) or video content, those services might set their own cookies. We don't control those - check their privacy policies if you're concerned.
Your browser settings:
Most browsers let you block or delete cookies. Just know that some parts of our site might not work right if you disable everything. Your call though.
We're not using cookies to track you across the internet or sell your browsing habits. We just wanna know if our website's doing its job.
Got questions about this privacy policy or how we handle your data? Don't be shy - just reach out.
