From a single-bay passion project to Vancouver's go-to shop for European performance work
Started out in a cramped garage in East Van, just me and a buddy working weekends on BMWs and Audis. We'd been wrenching on European cars for years at dealerships, but honestly got tired of the corporate rush-job mentality. Figured we could do better.
Word travels fast when you're not cutting corners. Moved to our current Industrial Crescent location - proper four-bay facility with a lift setup that actually makes sense. Started specializing in performance tuning after a local Porsche club gave us a shot.
Got approached to restore a '73 BMW 2002. That project changed everything - realized there's something special about bringing old metal back to life. Now about 30% of our work is classic European restoration, and I love every minute of it.
Invested heavily in diagnostic equipment - these modern European cars aren't getting simpler. Added a dedicated programming bay and trained the whole crew on advanced systems. Can't fake it with Porsches and Mercs anymore.
Running a tight crew of six techs who actually give a damn. We're not the biggest shop in Vancouver, but we've built something I'm proud of - a place where European car owners know their ride's gonna get treated right. Still learning, still improving.
We don't just talk a big game - we've got the training and experience to back it up
Full diagnostic and repair certification for European vehicle systems. Updated annually because these systems change fast.
Marcus on a tricky M3 engine rebuild
Multiple ASE certifications across the team. Yeah, it's industry standard, but it means we know our stuff inside and out.
Our diagnostic bay setup
The crew during a lunch break
Factory-level training for Porsche diagnostics and repair. These cars deserve techs who understand their quirks.
Specialized certification for BMW systems including their latest iDrive and programming protocols.
Classic restoration in progress
Look, we're not gonna pretend every job's glamorous. Sometimes it's just replacing worn bushings or tracking down an electrical gremlin for three hours. But every car that rolls through our doors gets the same attention.
We don't upsell stuff you don't need. If your brake pads have another 10k in 'em, we'll tell you. If that CEL is just a loose gas cap, you're not paying diagnostic fees. Built this business on repeat customers, not one-time scores.
European cars are complex, no doubt. But that's what makes working on them interesting. There's always something new to figure out, always a better way to do things. After 13 years, still excited to open the bay doors every morning.
